Welcome to The Hair Game, the brainchild of Salon Republic! With over 20 years in the salon studio business, we’ve seen a lot change (or not change). Hairdressers are taking control of their business, brand, and style. Owning your own business as an indie hairdresser has never been this reachable before! We wanted to create another resource for you because our goal is (and has always been) to help as many hairdressers as we can find success. 

One of the biggest shifts is the importance of digital content (especially video) on social media platforms. On The Hair Game, we’ll be sharing candid interviews with the salon industry’s most interesting people, how-to videos on things you care about, business advice from great beauty pros (but not great biz people), marketing tips, and some behind the scenes of how we do things at Salon Republic.

There are a few ways you can find content from The Hair Game. First is the audio podcast hosted by our CEO, Eric Taylor. We release a new episode every Monday morning and have over 300 episodes full of valuable info for the hair entrepreneur. We cover everything from price increases to the client experience. Each guest brings unique insight into the keys to becoming successful.
